Who we are
Lynch Brother Group Ltd runs this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 15153575, at Unit 2 Bradley Farm, Cumnor, Oxford OX2 9QU. For the personal data this website collects, we are the controller under UK data protection law. That means we decide how it is used.

What this policy covers
This policy covers this website and the enquiries that come from it, by the form, by email, by phone or by post. If you follow a link from this site to another site, that site has its own policy.
What we collect
The enquiry form. The form asks for your name, your company, your email address and your phone number. It asks for the type of project and your message. We receive what you type. You do not have to give us any of this. If you do not, we cannot answer your enquiry.
Email, phone and post. If you contact us in any other way, we keep what you send us and the notes we make to deal with it.
Server logs. The company that hosts this site keeps server logs. These may record your IP address, the pages you request, the time and the browser you use. It keeps these records to run the site and to keep it secure.
Cookies and tracking. This site sets no cookies, so there is no cookie banner. It runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it loads no fonts or code from other companies.
Why we use it
We use what you send us to answer your enquiry. If you ask, we use it to prepare a price and a programme. If you go ahead, we use it to carry out the work.
The law asks us to name our reason. Our reason is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our work. If the contract would be with you personally, our reason is the steps you ask for before that contract, and then the contract itself. For keeping the site secure, our reason is our legitimate interest in running it. Where the law makes us keep or hand over records, our reason is that legal duty. No decision about you is made by a computer alone.
We do not sell your data. We do not add you to a marketing list.
Who we share it with
The people who deal with your enquiry. The person who prices the work, and the people who then run it. They may work for one of the group's other companies. If so, we pass your enquiry to that company.
Our hosting provider. The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Netlify stores each form submission and passes it to us. Before it does, its spam filter, Akismet, run by Automattic, Inc., checks the submission. Netlify may process this data in the United States, under the safeguards UK law requires for such transfers. Ask us if you want to know more.
Our email and IT providers. The companies that supply our email and file storage.
Professional advisers and authorities. Our accountants, insurers and lawyers when a job needs them, and any authority that has a legal right to ask.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work: for as long as we need them to answer you, and no longer.
- Enquiries that become work: for the life of the contract, and afterwards for as long as the law allows a claim to be brought.
- Server logs: for the period the hosting provider sets.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You can ask us to correct it or delete it. You can ask us to stop using it. You can ask us to send it to you, or to another company, in a usable form. Where we rely on a legitimate interest, you can object. We answer within one month, or we tell you why we need longer. We do not charge.
How to complain
If you think we have got something wrong, tell us and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time, at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
How we protect it
This site runs over HTTPS, so what you send is encrypted on its way to us.
